Salem, city of witches. Or so the story goes. For years it's been merely a tourist attraction. Beings of true power have avoided it for two centuries for fear of drawing attention to themselves. But something sinister inhabits it now. It is prevalent and permeates every street. People stay inside, and even the monsters of the night walk with wary trepidation.

The Sabbat, the Sword of Caine, seen by many to be the antagonists, a massive horde of fang and claw ready to devour the Camarilla whole, have come. But even they, in all their wickedness, find themselves surrounded by a vileness that dwarfs their own. Here, they are the heroes. Here, they fight against something darker. Here, they are not the invaders of the night, but the proud warriors who dive headfirst into evil to stem the tide. In a town where the only hope of salvation is borne by monsters, Salem burns.
